Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated General Manager to oversee the operations of our steel distribution company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's operations, including production, logistics, safety, and personnel. Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:
• Oversee daily operations of steel distribution to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure that all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Implement and enforce safety programs and protocols to minimize risks and accidents.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
4. Financial Management:
• Develop and manage the plant's budget, including forecasting and cost control.
• Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
5. Customer Relations:
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Address and resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly.
6. Strategic Planning:

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in the steel industry.
• Strong understanding of steel distribution and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software.
