We are a growing hedge fund looking to hire a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be a part of our Infrastructure Team and will work seamlessly with our Development and Data Teams on projects to support core cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, quantitative trading strategies, alternative data and our first steps into Generative AI/NLP applications in a fully cloud-based environment. This person will be at the helm of leading us into the cloud space as they take ownership of these projects

• 4-6 years of experience in DevOps and systems engineering (experience in the finance industry desirable)

• Extensive experience in the Azure and AWS public clouds with IaaS and PaaS workloads, including management of VNets/VPCs, private networking, storage accounts, Docker containers, Function Apps/Lambda, and managed databases.

• Significant experience with cloud cybersecurity best practices

• Some experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Cloud Adoption Framework/Well Architected Framework best practices

• Some experience with Python, PowerShell, and SQL

• Some experience with modern data stack tools, including Databricks, Airflow, and GitHub

• Some experience with general database administration of SQL Server

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preference for Computer Science/Computer Engineering majors

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
