The Princeton Group is Hiring a Data Engineer Near New York, NY
We are a well known NYC institutional hedge fund with an established reputation across multiple verticals. Our team prides itself on a familial, flat culture and an adherence to our technology roots. Currently, we are in the process of changing the way we ingest and use data for further investment decisions.
We are looking for a jr.-mid level data engineer with a background in finance (either from a bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or private equity firm) to join in the build of a new data platform used by our quant/front office teams. This build is still in it's infancy, and we are looking for a SWE or Data Engineer ready to graduate into a more visible role.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience working in a technology role in a bank, investment bank, hedge fund, or financial insitution
- Expertise in data engineering principles, advanced Python coding, or data development
- Experience working in a cloud native environment
- Ability to commute to our NY office 3-4 days a week
