We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to work closely with the Head of Infrastructure in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing the company's IT platform. This includes overseeing cloud applications, server management, network operations, and virtualization. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities to ensure the robustness, security, and scalability of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Applications:

Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions (Azure, Okta, Microsoft 365, Jamf, etc.) to support business objectives.

Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with on-premises infrastructure.

Develop and implement cloud migration strategies and best practices.

Virtualization:

Design, deploy, and manage virtualized environments using platforms like VMware

Optimize virtual infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments.

Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for virtualized resources.

Server Management:

Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux) to support business applications.

Manage server environments including DNS, DHCP, and NTP.

Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure system integrity and security.

Implement backup and recovery solutions to protect critical data and systems.

Network Management:

Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain and upgrade network hardware and software.

General Responsibilities:

Lead infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes, configurations, and procedures.

Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve the IT infrastructure.

Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents as needed.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a similar role.
