Your experience with typical part handling, assembly processes, data management, and automation will be crucial in enhancing our production processes. The ideal candidate will also have a background in statistical analysis, continuous improvement methods, capacity management and OEE analysis.
Essential Duties:
1. Ensure compliance with OSHA Safety and Health regulations, as well as federal, state, and local regulations related to environmental, industrial, and electrical mandates.
2. Mechatronic Product Assembly: Oversee and optimize assembly processes for current production and new pump assembly lines, utilizing middleware such as Ignition and PLCs to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
3. Testing: Develop and implement robust in-process and end of line testing procedures. Analyze test results and employ statistical analysis to drive improvements.
4. Data Management: Leverage your expertise with middleware, such as Ignition and PLC, to integrate and streamline manufacturing processes, part traceability and database management.
5. Automation: Drive automation initiatives within the assembly process, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
6. Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods to analyze manufacturing data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions for process optimization.
7. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement in processes, quality, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2. 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on automotive assembly and testing of mechatronic systems.
