The QTI Group has been retained by a family-owned organization in Mineral Point to recruit its next New Product Development Engineer. The New Product Development Engineer will be responsible for overseeing projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities will also include designing and developing new products for the company’s line.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new products and make improvements to existing products
• Work closely with customers to understand product specifications and purpose
• Establish product specifications, create drawings using engineering technology
• Establish testing methods and requirements for new products
• Work with manufacturing team to ensure proper design transfer and collaborate to complete testing and prototyping process
• Understand and comply with company quality system and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Mechanical engineering
• Experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Design knowledge/experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
