Our client is is a private industrial group, backed by a leading international Private Equity and an Industrial Holding Co. The company operates in the agro-industrial business, with main focus on bio-stimulants for agriculture, with B2B business model in supplying the main global players in both agrochemical and industrial sectors, in 90 countries.

BASIC SUMMARY

Responsible for all aspects of the safe, efficient, and productive daily operations of vertically integrated facility, including when department managers and supervisors are not available. Possesses leadership qualities that enable oversight of a multi-disciplinary team and promotes the vision, values, and standards of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all sales activities in the assigned area:
  • Develop the market and bring growth in sales;
  • Create new partnerships while supporting existing customers;
  • Report and ongoing follow up according to company requests
  • Meet sales and profitability goals defined with and approved by HQ;
  • Implement vision, Multi Year Plan, goals and objectives derived from company’s vision and goals;
  • Increase presence of the company in the local markets;
  • Represent the company to the field and the field to the company – keep close interface with relevant stakeholders;
  • Ensure operational aspects are meeting customers' needs;
  • Manage the relevant regulatory & legal aspects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years experience in managing sales in the AG Market;
  • Bachelor s Degree Required in Agriculture or Ag related field;
  • Deep knowledge of common agronomic crops and common production practices with particular reference to plant nutrition.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply scientific concepts and become an expert on our portfolio of products.
  • Ability to plan & organize activities, multi-task, and follow-through to accomplish goals.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and possess an outstanding work ethic.
  • Outstanding communication skills -effective verbal and written communicator of detailed product information and technical concepts to our customers, distributor, accounts, agronomists, researchers, growers, etc. in a range of environments that include everything from large group presentations to one-on-one meetings.
  • Customer focus – understand and meet customers’ needs;
  • Give feedback from field to HQ on QA, R&D, Regulatory issues;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Cross cultural understanding;
  • Resilience - Prioritization;
  • Going the extra mile.
  • Proficiency with computers and basic programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to assume other duties as assigned within the sales team, flexibility & ability to handle change are imperative.
