The Raleigh School seeks a highly qualified Director of Finance & Operations (DFO) to manage the school's financial and physical resources in a manner consistent with our school's mission and goals. This position is an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, works closely with the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees, and reports directly to the Head of School. The DFO plays a key role in advancing the strategic goals and vision while managing the financial, accounting, human resources, and facilities of The Raleigh School. This is an in-person, full-time, 12-month position.

The ideal candidate will be both a flexible self-starter and a collaborator who thrives working in a small organization and is comfortable prioritizing multiple responsibilities of various size and scope. Bachelor’s Degree in administration, accounting, finance or general management required, Master’s or equivalent experience preferred. CPA license preferred.

Preference will be given to those candidates with familiarity and experience in non-profit and mission-driven organizations, ideally in the education sector.
