The REACH Project is Hiring an Administrative Assistant/Coordinator Near College Station, TX

Position Summary: The REACH Administrative Assistant/Coordinator (AA) plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of REACH’s administrative functions and various programs. This part-time position provides essential administrative support to the Director of Operations, Strategy and Business Development (DoO) and the REACH Leadership Team. The AA will handle general office administration, assist in program and fundraising logistics, and support REACH’s day-to-day activities. The role also involves assisting with scheduling, correspondence, and data management, while contributing to the overall efficiency of REACH’s operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in office administration, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to work effectively with a diverse range of community members. The AA must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. This position reports to the DoO and requires someone who is dedicated to supporting REACH’s mission and contributing to its success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist the DoO and REACH Leadership Team with calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting preparation.
  • Organize and coordinate logistics for REACH’s events, workshops, and community programs.
  • Maintain and update REACH’s contact databases, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Prepare and process reports, documents, and communications related to various REACH programs and initiatives.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new staff or volunteers as needed.
  • Handle routine inquiries via email and phone and provide information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to track project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with data entry and management using REACH’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems – both for clients and funders.
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives as directed by the DoO or REACH Leadership Team.
  • Represent REACH at community meetings or events as required.
  • Provide additional support to the REACH team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in general office administration, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in modern office methods and software, including Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability for occasional evening and weekend work as needed for REACH events.
  • Experience in non-profit settings and familiarity with community outreach is a plus.
  • Social media experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus.

Salary Range- $15-$17/hour, part-time (20-30 hours per week), with potential for full-time

· Remote work (work from home).
