Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in a Biology-related field by the start date. Previous research experience working with mouse experiments in a biomedical sciences lab (even if preliminary) with some skills in any of these techniques: PCR, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Mouse Tissue Processing, Animal Husbandry.
Brief Description of Duties:
Will participate in the immunology research in the Devarajan Lab (https://www.thedevarajanlab.com/).
The ideal candidate will have an interest in immunology research in the Devarajan lab (https://www.thedevarajanlab.com/) and the ability to enjoy the process of scientific research with enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will have commitment to progressing scientific research in the lab and a strong eagerness to learn. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively as a team player, collaborating with others in the lab to advance scientific goals, while also possessing the capability to work independently on experiments and troubleshoot problems.
The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, enabling successful execution of biological experiments with multiple variables, and adept at advanced planning. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the immune system. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time-management skills, or a willingness to develop them.
