- Analyze historical loss and sales data to aide in the development of classification and rates for new contract products and services as well as updating existing programs
- Provide supporting analysis, including recommendations for improvement for identifying programs that generate problems
- Interpret and work with data to produce meaningful reports and provide overall program performance
- Develop and evaluate program trends to identify programs where actions need to be triggered to mitigate loss
- Conduct research on competitive programs and various products and provide analysis illustrating differences to decision makers.
- Assist in the development of rates, pricing/program proposals for new and existing programs.
- Aid in the development of processes that will lead to reduced loss and to evaluate the results of changed procedures.
On the Job
Requirements:
- College degree preferably in math, accounting, or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3 years of experience in data analysis and database experience specific to the automotive insurance and warranty industry
- 2 years of experience in the analytical or underwriting field
- Must be proficient in Power BI and Power Automate
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Excel
- Advanced mathematics proficiency
- Strong organization, analysis and presentation skills
