Job Summary:

The Product Manager will leverage a background in creative design and consumer product experience to design and develop new products, define and submit specifications for manufacturing, monitor finished products to ensure they consistently adhere to the defined specifications, and help manage tradeshow exhibitions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with owners and executive management to design and develop new products that conform to RGU’s existing brand.
  • Define and monitor product specifications beginning with the design process all the way through manufacturing and distribution.
  • Investigate and assess emerging creative technologies and their potential application to optimize the design and production process.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure the delivery of samples and prototypes that adhere to defined specifications.
  • Partner with the business to provide clear communication on product design, development, and introduction into the catalog.
  • Manage development projects budgets and timelines.
  • Provide support and coordination of trade show exhibitions by assigning products to the booth, submitting orders for the assigned products, completing documentation, ensuring fees are paid, and managing the shipped freight to and from trade shows.

Skills:

  • Exceptional creative sensibility with strong marketplace insight.
  • Multitasking and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously, set priorities, utilize resources, identify and meet deadlines.
  • Natural collaborator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Fluent in design principles, processes, and application of packaging regulations.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, digital asset management systems, and content management systems.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field.
  • 3 years of Consumer Product / Wholesale Distribution experience.
  • At least 5 years of Creative Team or Department Leadership required.
  • Expert knowledge in Design Software.
  • Background in Product Management and Development.

Performance will be measured on:

  • Timely completion of product management projects within or before deadlines.
  • Communication and delivery of reports and analytics.
  • Contribution to the Mission and Vision Statements including Innovation and Customer Satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
