POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Principal will support the Middle and High School Principal in providing leadership and direction for the school. This role involves managing daily school operations, overseeing College and Career Department, including Registrar and of promoting a positive school culture, and ensuring students' academic and spiritual development. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated Christian educator with strong leadership, organizational and communication skills. and committed to the mission and values of Rock Academy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Principal in the overall administration and daily operations of the school.
Support the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture that reflects Christian values.
Assist with the evaluation and professional development of teachers and staff.
Coordinate and manage school events, extracurricular activities, and programs.
Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective curriculum and instructional strategies.
Monitor student progress and support interventions for academic and behavioral improvement.
Serve as a liaison between students, parents, and staff to address concerns and promote effective communication.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including WASC accreditation and possible IB application and all related documents.
Support the spiritual development of students through activities and programs.
Substitute for the Principal when necessary.

Proven experience in an educational leadership role.
Strong understanding of educational best practices and curriculum development.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
Commitment to Christian education and the mission of Rock Academy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in a Christian school setting.
Prior experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
