Louisville High School in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Coach for our Girls Varsity soccer team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Coach in developing and leading a competitive and inclusive program that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate must be able to improve the performance of student-athletes through motivation, technical instruction, game strategies, and techniques to prepare them for competition. This position is seasonal from October 2024 through February 2025.

Requirements

Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
Previous coaching experience at the high school level or other applicable coaching or playing experience.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the athletic administrators, parents, and students.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with athletic participants.
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making; be an effective problem solver and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
