Seeking an enthusiastic and experienced part-time Technology Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position includes teaching technology classes once a week for 2nd though 8th graders. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable overseeing and maintaining technology in the school that is used by the teachers, students, and office staff.

A flexible demeanor and willingness to adapt to school schedule changes, special events, and celebrations is essential. This teacher should be comfortable with Google Classroom and many other educational apps and programs. Technology skills and ability to work with iPads and websites to create and integrate curriculum into everyday lessons is a must. This teacher will be expected to design curriculum maps and engaging lessons that incorporate differentiated instructional strategies for all learners.

This teacher will provide leadership in identifying hardware and software purchases, ensuring consistency within the school technology plan, and technology guidelines. This teacher will be expected to implement and maintain a vision of technology use in an instructional environment that is in accord with our Catholic beliefs and the school’s mission.

They will work collaboratively with the teachers and the administration and have strong communication and organizational skills. The ability to develop and foster positive relationships with students, faculty, and parents is essential. The ideal candidate must be able to supervise students effectively, both in and out of the classroom, support and follow procedures, as well as develop effective classroom procedures and management.

Requirements

The candidate must have a B.A. and teaching experience. Masters degree and/or other certifications are a plus.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
