Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash registers, collect payments, and issue receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring prompt and friendly service
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management is beneficial
- Strong hospitality skills, including the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Effective time management skills to ensure efficient service
