This position will use their skillset to operate machinery used in the production of transformers while considering the values and goals of Power Partners.

Understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructions with regards to the operation of various equipment and the production of parts. Ensure safe and proper start-up, operation, tool changes, and shut-down of equipment. Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50 lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices. Handle metal parts/material and use hand/power tools. Ensure conformity of parts to standards. Follow all safety polices and procedures.

Communicate and understand written and verbal instructions;
Use iPad or other electronic communication devices;
Use of organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary;
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in thousandths and up to 1/16th of an inch;
Demonstrate proper lifting techniques;
Grasp, reach, and handle objects, tools, and materials;
Use measuring devices such as rulers, calipers, and micrometers;
Use hand & power tools such as air ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, and grinders;
Operate overhead hoists and lift assist equipment;
Lift, push/pull 50 lbs.;
Frequent standing and walking is necessary;
Occasional sitting, stooping, reaching, or kneeling;
20/40 vision is required with or without the use of corrective glasses and/or contact lens, as well as normal peripheral vision no less than 70, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus;
Must comply with all plant safety policies and procedures and any special department safety rules;
Must be able to wear all required PPE including, but not limited to: safety toed shoes, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves, and hearing protection.
