For our branch in Lawrenceville, Georgia, we are currently looking for a motivated financial professional to join our team.

The Accountant / Controller role is integral to our financial management, focusing on supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, managing the annual audit process, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. This position extends to preparing and analyzing financial statements regularly, managing the general ledger, forecasting cash flows, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will also handle tax planning, collaborate with auditors, implement internal controls, and enhance financial systems, while providing leadership in financial decision-making and serving as the primary point of contact for financial queries within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage general ledger, including entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze cash flow forecasts and provide insights.
• Coordinate and prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance.
• Maintain internal controls to protect assets.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership.
• Implement financial systems and processes.
• Act as the primary contact for financial matters.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by the CFO or President.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related; CPA certification or in progress is a plus.
• 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in trade, manufacturing, or relevant sectors like agriculture or packaging.
• I am skilled in general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting, including cash flow statements, budgets, and forecasts.

• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP systems knowledge essential. Proficient in complex spreadsheets, financial modeling and system integration.
• Abilities: Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Capable of prioritizing in a dynamic environment. Exceptional in communicating complex financial information clearly.
• Location: Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia; minimal travel for training and collaboration.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with hybrid work flexibility post-onboarding.
