That's why we are building the Underdog Retail Execution Team.
The ideal candidate to join this team will be responsible for building out our retail sales footprint in their designated territory strategy. Your collaborative nature will help you succeed when coordinating with external distributors and internal sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing retail chains by identifying their needs and providing solutions to their problems.
Identify potential sales opportunities and generate new leads by conducting market research and cold calling.
Present and demonstrate products to potential clients, and provide them with information about pricing, delivery, and other product features.
Negotiate sales contracts and agreements, and work with clients to ensure that they are satisfied with their purchases.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and promote its products.
Keep accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and other relevant data in a CRM system or other sales software.
Collaborate with other members of the sales team, as well as with other departments such as marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure that customer needs are met, and orders are fulfilled.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
Manage customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the beverage industry or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and establish rapport with clients.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle objections and close deals.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good time management and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
