Department: Human Resources

Reports to: Human Resources Director

Supervises: N/A

Status: Nonexempt

Schedule: On Call, not to exceed 20 hours per week

Function: Provide clerical support in the Human Resources department during exceptionally busy periods such as Summer Camp and Kettle seasons.

Responsibilities

• Filing, scanning, uploading and organizing confidential documents in proper locations.
• Ensure that new hire paperowrk is completed correctly and all required documents are in place
• Assemble hiring packets
• Run copies of documents 
• Pick up packages and supplies for the department
• Assist with paperowrk at Camp SWONKEY 
• Process volunterer's paperowrk and assist with sex offender registry checks
• Create and revise documents 
• Assist with orientations.
• Assist with set up and clean up of company events
• Maintain a clean and safe work enviornment 

Qualifications

• Student or High School Graduate
• Maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to relate well to all people
• Basic computer skills needed to include familiarity with Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
• Must conduct oneself in a manner which reflects the values, beliefs and mission of The Salvation Army.
