The Salvation Army Midland Division is looking for a Disaster Recovery Services Construction Assistant. This individual will work in collaboration with the Disaster Case Managers to assist in the process of recovery by conducting repair and/or rebuild project assessments, creating scopes of work including cost estimates, and coordinating the repair and/or rebuilding of survivors' homes to safe, sanitary, secure, and functional. This Position travels extensively throughout Saint Louis.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, $ 39,000 per year.
Temporary 10-month position based on grant funding

Physical and Working Conditions
Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment to include using a computer, answering phones, etc. Occasionally lifts 24 pounds. Most work will be indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. However, occasional outdoor travel is required in the summer and winter.
