Job Objective: Provide regular management, communication, and visitation with Service Extension unit leaders to equip, encourage, and empower.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Leadership in volunteer and staff management, business goal planning/strategy, and team development. Experience in fundraising and community relations. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and employee manuals. Effectively present information to volunteers, clients, and employees in one-on-one and group situations. Experience with various programs and services within The Salvation Army is a plus.

Skills/Abilities:
Supervisory Duties: Direct Supervisor of field staff leaders who comprise the Service Units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities following The Salvation Army policies and applicable laws.

The position requires sitting; climbing and balancing; stooping, kneeling, bending, stretching, crouching, and crawling; standing; walking; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; use of vision; driving a vehicle; pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying 75 pounds; traveling by airplane; both outdoor and indoor navigation of settings, and standing and walking for extended periods.
Travel: Occasional travel throughout the division, average two weeks/month
Driving: Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Working Conditions: Daily work in a typical office environment may require some weekend and evening work. Event work may include hotels, indoor/outdoor venues, Service Units, and other public venues.
