Product Development Manager
Position Summary
The PD Manager manages all incoming project requests, WIP (work in progress) calendar, project
coordination with the Floor as well as Design, reviews and manages all Design Cards, communication
between TSR and PD/Design teams, inventory management of studio materials and inventory
management of sample and mockup reference libraries.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Receive Incoming DC’s and work with Director to finalize any missing information such as
measurements and design details, requesting information from Design as needed
2. Distribute Design Cards to staff, ensuring information is always up to date
3. Identify and coordinate all raw materials including components with PD and/or vendor,
communicating timing to floor staff, PD and Design
4. Direct handoff meetings for new projects with team members
5. Partner with Floor Supervisor to manage delivery timeframes and communicate any changes
in deliveries to Director, PD / Design
6. Implement and manage strategies to improve workflow and efficiency
1. Support sample review process to call out any issues or misses and communicate to
Patternmaker to implement edits
2. Communicate all quality call outs and comments to Design and PD to ensure alignment
on quality issues
3. Communicate supply/deadline issues to Director and Clients
Job type: Full time – In person
Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekends as necessary)
