Position : Medical Records Coordinator

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the patient medical records system.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient data.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Respond to requests for medical records from physicians, staff, and external agencies.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to verify record accuracy.
• Conduct periodic audits of medical records to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist in the transition to electronic health records, if applicable.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in electronic medical record-keeping or a related field. Point-Click-Care (PCC) preferred.
• Registered Health Information Technicians (RHIT) or related experience in preliminary coding are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping practices.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills.
• Ability to work discreetly with sensitive and confidential information.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of data accuracy and patient privacy.
