Scarborough’s corporate warehouse is located in Liberty, Missouri and offers 416,000 square feet of fully racked Class A space with 40 dock doors. Scarbrough strives to provide a full-service warehouse experience, including: container devanning, storage, inspection, kitting, reverse logistics, custom labeling, custom packing, compliance management, omni-channel retail fulfillment, crossdocking, and distribution services.

Position Overview:

Commercial Cleaning Specialist responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse, including all breakrooms, bathrooms, and offices. They are also responsible for stocking the breakrooms, bathrooms, and supply closets as necessary. Commercial Cleaning Specialists must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently to complete all tasks on time according to facility standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Clean the facility based on the schedule provided by management
• Emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping/mopping, dusting
• Doing a weekly deep clean
• Using equipment (commercial vacuum, carpet cleaner, etc.)
• Using all cleaning supplies the proper way
• Participation in special projects as required (event set up and tear down, clean up after)
• Follows good housekeeping practices and required workplace safe practices
• Perform related responsibilities assigned by management, which may be added or revised based on business and operational needs, with or without advanced notice

Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs and participate in physical job activities such as standing, walking, crouching daily. Work in an environment that may be hot, cold, and noisy.
• 1 years' experience in commercial facilities housekeeping/janitorial services
• Works independently, but also cooperatively and collaboratively within a group
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to give and share information with co-workers and warehouse management
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
