The School District of Beloit is Hiring a Para Educator - Special Education (SUB) Near Beloit, WI
The School District of Beloit has an opening for a Special Education Para Educator at Todd Elementary. This is a full timeSubstitute position. Candidates should have experience working with children with disabilities from diverse backgrounds, demonstrate flexibility, patience, and be able to work as part of a team. Rate of pay is $16.76/hour. Start date is: ASAP. Minority and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Our District includes an early childhood program; six elementary schools, 4K through third grade; four intermediate schools, fourth through eighth grade; one traditional high school with an Academy Model; and one alternative high school.

Qualifications
- High school diploma, 48 college credits or an associate’s degree; or pass a formal assessment test (ACT WorkKeys, Parapro-Assessment ETS, or ParaEducator Master Teacher)
- Shall be eligible for Wisconsin Special Education Program Aide Certification #883
- Ability to lift/move, 50 pounds where applicable
- Possess basic information technology and media skills
- Strong oral and written communicate skills
- Present proof of physical fitness to assume all the duties of the job (standing, bending, kneeling, etc)
- Fluent in Spanish (reading, writing and speaking)
