Roles and Responsibilities: 5 days a week, 5 hours a day (8:30 am-1:30 pm)

The Transition to Kindergarten Ambassadors will work part-time and be responsible for the following:

· Collaborating with the Palm Beach County Early Learning Coalition

. Support schools and VPK centers in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and North Boynton Beach

· Supporting families by providing them with information and resources, including kindergarten readiness materials, and answering their questions

· Partnering with early learning centers and elementary schools to support with training and information sessions

· Providing ongoing support to families, early learning centers, and schools throughout the transition process

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Transition to Kindergarten Ambassador Program should possess the following qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree or higher mandatory

. Bilingual-Spanish/Portuguese

· A strong understanding of early childhood development and early learning practices

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with families, early learning centers, schools, and the local early learning coalition

. Strong presentation skills (Google Meets, Parent Groups, Principals, VPK Centers)

· The ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve program goals

· A strong commitment to supporting families and children during the transition to kindergarten process

· Must have reliable transportation to travel to school centers

All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The school district does not provide sponsorship or J1 visas.
