THE POSITION This position requires knowledge of intervention strategies and instructional techniques to teach ELA to students in grades K-2 identified as in need of additional instructional support. This position also requires the ability to model effective instructional strategies and techniques for staff. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1. New Jersey Elementary School Teacher Certification required. 2. ELA background required. 3. A Reading Specialist certification or credits towards a Reading Specialist certification. 4. Training in intervention strategies required. 5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 6. Required criminal history background check and Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.
