What you'll do

As the Inside Sales Specialist for our DuraMag® division based in Waterville, ME, you will be accountable for completing quotations, sales, customer returns, and provides sales support to outside sales team. You will also be involved with nurturing customer relationships and assisting with miscellaneous sales projects with the goal of retaining and strengthening customer relationships.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly, accurately, and professionally to all customer inquiries
  • Handling high-volume phone and email correspondence
  • Specifying vehicle specifications for customer parts orders
  • Tracking customer requests, calculating, and providing quotes, orders and altered options
  • Providing follow up and driving closure
  • Expediting and following-up on customer orders and resolving customer issues
  • Maintaining relationships with outside sales staff and supporting and assisting with orders
  • Processing and maintaining sales and change orders
  • Ordering parts using online parts manuals, engineering prints, and photographs
  • Coordinating with buyer for special part purchases
  • Providing support and guidance to shipping department personnel
  • Locating appropriate service center and coordinating truck repairs
  • Communicating issues to Technical Engineering support to gain a solution
  • Ensuring proper handling of all warranty issues

What you need to be successful

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree (Preferred)
  • 3 years of sales or customer service
