What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Receptionist/Billing Coordinator position at The Smile Academy Pediatric Dentistry?
We are looking for one front office receptionist with the following qualities: organized, eager to learn, self-motivated, friendly, confident, respectful, loyal, honest and a team-player. We are excited to continue to grow our pediatric dental office, and are looking for someone who will be dependable and help us build a welcoming and efficient office culture. Responsibilities will include answering the phones, scheduling appointments, checking in patients, collecting payments, sending account statements, coordinate dental insurance benefits and owning the insurance credentialing process.
Required Skills:
· Previous Insurance Coordination preferred
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities
· Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and remain resourceful when addressing challenges.
· Team-oriented with an outgoing personality and positive attitude.
· High school diploma or equivalent, on the job training provided.
