The Sophia Way is Hiring a Behavioral Health Program Manager Near Bellevue, WA

The Sophia Way is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable LCSW or LMHC to join our team as a Behavioral Health Program Manager. Your expertise will be essential in making meaningful and lasting positive impacts in the lives of our clients.

The Position
In this role, you are crucial to fulfilling our mission. You will manage The Sophia Way's Behavioral Health Program, provide clinical services to our clients, and work closely with other program staff.
Responsibilities
The essential functions of this role include but are not limited to:
  • Establish and evaluate the efficacy of Behavioral Health programming; plan and conduct programs to prevent substance use or improve community health or counseling services
  • Complete diagnostic assessments; develop, implement, and update treatment plans; conduct individual and/or group counseling sessions
  • Provide support and crisis management services; make referrals to community resources or specialists as needed; follow-up with individuals and/or emergency medical professionals and social services providers to ensure a smooth transition and engagement with services
  • Supervise and train other Behavioral Health Program staff
  • Occasional travel to attend off-site meetings, community engagement activities, and clinic events as needed

Qualifications
  • Education and licensure
    • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field, and
    • LCSW or LMHC in good standing in the State of Washington
  • Abilities, skills, and experience
    • Experience in successfully managing and ability to work effectively with teams
    • Familiarity with records management standards, confidentiality practices, and the use of HMIS
    • Aptitude for interpreting and implementing policies and procedures
    • Outstanding self-motivation and independence in carrying out responsibilities; ability to take initiative and strategize and prioritize tasks and deadlines
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, relationship-building, and communication skills; ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and promote a positive work environment, spirit of cooperation, and conflict resolution
    • Demonstrated ability to provide consistent, high-quality professional services
    • Deep knowledge, appreciation for, and understanding of The Sophia Way's mission, vision, and programs; ability to embody the community-oriented spirit of The Sophia Way
In this position you will report to the Managing Executive Director. Additionally, you will supervise a Behavioral Health Specialist.
Schedule This is a full-time, exempt position. A flexible or hybrid telework arrangement may be allowed, based upon operational and client needs.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000 paid bi-weekly.
