The Spice House has opened a food manufacturing and distribution facility in Elk Grove Village, IL, and we need you to join us in bringing the finest spices to dinner tables around the country. Current opening is a full-time Inventory Replenishment position on the first shift (7AM-3:30PM), Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties: Joining our Inventory and Fulfillment team means you will be trained in a variety of areas of spice distribution including (but not limited to):

• Order picking, packing and shipping using an electronic handheld device
• Checking and restocking inventory, inspecting for damage, and verifying counts
• Receiving inventory, stock shelves, pick orders, package orders, and ship orders
• Meeting and maintaining accuracy and replenishment goals
• Maintaining inventory areas by keeping areas clean, neat, and orderly
• Performing quality control checks
• Conducting cycle counts and inventory moves using an electronic handheld device
• Understanding of the day-to-day manufacturing warehouse operations regarding logistics, systems and processes in order to meet demand and maintain strict safety standards.

• Ability to follow all safety, GMP, and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/hygiene policies
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Reports To: Fulfillment Supervisor

Classification: Hourly, non-exempt

Essential Functions of the Job: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to read, count and write accurately in English. Must be able to climb ladders, work standing for extended periods of time and move items that can weigh up to 50 pounds. All employees in this position must be at their assigned stations at the start of their scheduled shift.
