Job Description: The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring the proper handling and maintenance of shotguns. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of shotgun ammunition and be comfortable using the Jonas system for sales and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing shotgun ammunition and related products.
• Handle, clean, and store shotguns according to safety protocols and company standards.
• Utilize the Jonas system for processing sales, scheduling appointments, and managing customer information.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked.
• Stay informed about the latest products, services, and industry trends to effectively assist customers and answer their questions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information to customers about the features and benefits of various products.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, conducting inventory counts, and restocking shelves.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in the shooting sports or outdoor industry.
• Extensive knowledge of shotgun ammunition and comfortable handling, cleaning, and storing shotguns.
• Proficiency in using the Jonas system or similar point-of-sale and scheduling software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a shooting range, gun shop, or similar environment.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and handling of firearms and ammunition.
• CPR and AED certifications are required, but they can be obtained after being hired.
