3rd shift Material Handler

10pm to 6:30am

$22hr

Put together kitting trays for the manufacturing floor as well as helping in warehouse ensuring area has enough parts to do daily work.

• Person must read and write English and speak it.
• They will be reading and preparing parts lists.
• GTW no interview but must pass drug and background check.

Responsibilities:

• Work together with a team of material handlers and manufacturing technicians to supply automation manufacturing cells with all the materials and components needed for continuous production.
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing technicians and warehouse operators to meet the needs of individual manufacturing cells.
• Timely and accurately stage materials and components in accordance with the production schedule.
• Fill trays with parts and components from pallets.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment in Distribution, Receiving, or Manufacturing Support environment.
• Experience working in the medical device industry. • Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Experience in a start-up production environment is a plus. • Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write.
• Ability to understand and follow standard operational procedures and follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and other employees

• Basic math and arithmetic skills
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
• Able to work effectively with a team environment.
• Able to perform tasks with accuracy and reliability
• Must be familiar with ergonomic lifting techniques.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and transfer loads up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and bend up to 8 hours a day.
• Required to lift above shoulder frequently and below waist occasionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
