MRO Maintenance Technician
Location : Sarasota, FL 34243
Salary : $22 / hour
Industry : Aviation / Manufacturing
Schedule : Monday-Thursday, 6 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)
Summary : The overhaul technician performs maintenance, repair, and overhaul of complex aircraft components.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of directly related technical maintenance / mechanic experience. Aircraft and aviation experience is a plus.
- A&P certification is a plus.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Must be willing to be respirator trained.
- Proficiency in using and understanding component maintenance manuals and other repair specifications.
Job Duties :
- Performing hands-on maintenance tasks on complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and / or hydraulic aircraft components.
- Uses and understands component maintenance manuals and other repair specifications.
- Understands or willing to learn company quality management system procedures.
- Accurately documenting all maintenance activities performed and taking responsibility for the quality of documentation.
- May also participate in the build of similar new components following work instructions.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
- Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
- Physical Demands : Sitting : 35% / Walking : 10% / Standing : 35% / Lifting : 20%
