POSITION SUMMARY

The Home Stager is responsible for transforming residential properties into appealing and market-ready spaces. This role involves conceptualizing and implementing creative design strategies to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of homes. The Home Stager will collaborate with real estate agents, homeowners, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences, select and arrange furniture and decor, and create visually stunning interiors. The Home Stager will contribute to maximizing property value and facilitating swift and profitable home sales.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Assess staging spaces in collaboration with the Staging Coordinator, select appropriate furnishings, and arrange them to create visually appealing and market-ready homes.
  • Efficiently load and unload furnishings into company vehicles
  • Assure organization of furnishings within our warehouse
  • Assure organization of company and personal tools
  • Collaborate effectively with other stagers and Staging Coordinators using company tools
  • Continually learn and provide innovative and up-to-date staging solutions.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other team members throughout the staging process to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
  • Effectively manage multiple staging projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Share knowledge, provide support and guidance to fellow team members, and foster a collaborative work culture.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve staging techniques by seeking feedback from clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of staging strategies.
  • Comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and ethical guidelines in all staging activities, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Home Staging Certificate preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience or 250 completed stages

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Stamina to work on your feet for extended periods, including bending, kneeling, and reaching, and lifting
  • Physical dexterity to handle delicate items and arrange furniture and décor with precision.
  • Visual acuity to assess spaces and evaluate the impact of staging elements on the overall design.
  • Manual agility to assemble and disassemble furniture, ensuring proper placement and alignment.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor spaces and different property types.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and step stools to position staging items effectively.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination to handle fragile items and accessories during the staging process.
  • Capability to operate basic tools and equipment used in staging, such as hand tools and power drills.
  • Physical agility to rearrange furniture and décor items to achieve optimal aesthetic appeal and functionality.
  • Requires ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs
