Your Specific Responsibilities:

This detailed and highly skilled position reports to the Operations & Mgmt Consultant Mgr-SES in the Licensure Support Services Section within the Bureau of Operations. This is a vital position responsible for supporting a culture of teamwork, quality, high performance and continuous improvement. This position performs advanced level work with independent performance under limited supervision.

Reviews and responds to incoming emails and chats presented to the AI model used by the Department. Responds to customers with more complex questions related to initial licensure, license maintenance and renewal of existing licenses.

Performs detailed research of licensing system to determine deficiencies in applications and eligibility for registration, certification, or licensure, inform customers of qualifications and license criteria in accordance with laws and rules. Respond to request for information.

Assist management with identifying areas of potential improvement in operations, administrative policies, procedures, guidelines, and related directives necessary to implement the AI model. Makes recommendations to management to improve processes.

Collect, evaluate, and analyze information from incoming emails, chats, phone calls to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices.

Performs other related work, as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position: Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods, knowledge of basic management principles and practices, ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data, in-depth knowledge of health care practitioner regulatory requirements, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, skills in organizing data for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials, ability to analyze and interpret regulatory and other data for reporting, presenting to management, and problem solving, proficient skills in computer usage, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

Other job-related requirements for this position:

Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural. Incumbent may have access to records containing social security numbers in the performance of job duties.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from a college or university and three years of professional experience in systems analysis management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation or administrative work. Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year bases for the required college education.
