The Superior Group is Hiring an Asset Resource Manager Near Gahanna, OH

Position: Asset Resource Manager
Reports to: Prefab Manager
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000

The Superior Group is looking for a highly organized and self-motivated Asset Resource Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tooling and equipment within our organization, including tracking, maintenance, and allocation.

The Asset Resource Manager will utilize tracking software to efficiently check assets in and out, maintain accurate records, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and accounted for. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. This role is based at our ALF (Advanced Logistics and Manufacturing Facility) in Gahanna, OH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of tooling and equipment/fleet within the organization
  • Utilize tracking software to efficiently check assets in and out, maintaining accurate records of asset movements
  • Coordinate with various departments to allocate resources as needed
  • Develop and implement procedures for asset management, including maintenance schedules and disposal processes
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that all assets are properly accounted for and in good working condition
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment and supplies
  • Train staff on proper asset management procedures and software usage
  • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to staff regarding asset management issues
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and trends in asset management

Your Expertise

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in the Construction Industry. Electrical is a plus
  • Certification in asset management or related field
  • You’re knowledgeable with logistics, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in asset management or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency with asset tracking software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to equipment and tooling
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment
