Duties * You will work independently, but within the framework of established practices and prescribed procedures. * You will be trained to provide the full range of medical visual information support services on difficult but less complex cases than the full performance level. * You will receive progressively more difficult assignments which will be conducted independently. * You will typically carry out assignments independently and discuss possible problem areas, defines objectives and provides assistance on controversial or unusual situations. * You will receive progressively more responsible assignments as experience and training are gained until satisfactorily performing at the Full Performance Level of GS-11. Qualifications To Qualify for GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: * Experience using Graphic Design Principles, Elements, and Processes for both Electronic Distribution and Print Production. * Experience handling Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat; Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Experience communicating orally and in writing. * Experience developing Medical Graphic Arts (Medical and Technical Illustrations, presentations, and a variety of electronic and printed material) utilizing state-of-the-art desk-top publishing systems in order to design and develop computer-generated graphics to create complex visual information projects. * Experience designing, creating, and assembling materials for presentations, publications, and exhibits.
