#1755 Service Engineer Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Execute flawless installations, start-ups, and commissioning of sophisticated automotive test systems, driveline test systems, brake test systems, wind tunnel balances, and emissions test systems.
• Provide in-house repairs for defective customer equipment, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Assist customers and internal departments with technical questions and Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare comprehensive Field Service Reports for invoicing, warranty claims, and policy purposes, maintaining detailed and accurate documentation.
• Provide redlined drawings detailing field changes, contributing to continuous improvement and accuracy of technical specifications.
• Create Acceptance Documents and Procedures to validate design specifications, ensuring all installations meet rigorous quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
• Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, to support customer needs on-site.
