A tech services organization on Long Island has a Remote opportunity awaiting a new Tax Administrator with their team in Nassau County.
Responsibilities:
The Tax Administrator will be responsible for
- Preparing simple tax returns
- Working with the IRS on notices/dispute resolution
- Handling varied notices sent to clients regarding balances due or penalties
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of related work experience
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Tax experience, specifically dealing with the IRS
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
