Job description - Spokane's Favorite Furniture store, The Tin Roof, is looking to hire a qualified customer service oriented delivery driver for in home deliveries. Our delivery team is last impression our customers have of our services and products, and it has to be a great one so it's an incredibly important position for our company. The Tin Roof is a locally owned furniture store, in business for 76 years in Spokane. We are consistently voted Spokane's favorite furniture store, and that is 100% due to our incredible staff. Position Responsibilities:

• Able to lift 50 pounds and move heavy furniture carefully and thoughtfully
• Deliver furniture in local areas as well as out of town stops
• Strong attention to detail
• Perform others duties as assigned
• Positive can do attitude
• Communicate effectively
• Able to work well with co-workers and management
• Clean cut, professional and presentable
• Drug Free
• Set up Home Staging and Home shows
• Help at the warehouse and moving furniture on the show floors as needed
• Ability to troubleshoot while in customers homes

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift heavy furniture, and maneuver it into homes safely without damage
• Must posses a valid drivers license with a clean driving record, having a DOT is great, but we will pay for a qualified candidate to obtain their DOT.
• Must be willing and able to drive in all weather conditions
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Team player, able to jump in and help where and when needed

Our delivery team works four ten hour shifts - Wednesdays - Saturday 7am-5pm. They have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday off. Typically we do around 8 deliveries per day.

We are looking for a full time help lead on the delivery truck.

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $19-$22 per hour DOE commission on products sold on delivery tips

Delivery crew earns considerable tips from customer installs.
