The Candidate:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing media relations, expanding our affiliate program, and internal and external communications initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our brand in the travel industry. This is a remote position that will report to the Senior Manager of Brand and Communications.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Execute media outreach strategies to secure press coverage, including pitching stories, press releases, and media partnerships.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to increase brand visibility and awareness.
• Grow and optimize our affiliate program by recruiting new partners, negotiating agreements, and providing ongoing support and communication.
• Coordinate internal communications efforts to ensure alignment and engagement across departments, including newsletters, announcements, and company-wide updates.
• Create compelling content for various channels, including website, blog, social media, and email, to engage and inform our audience.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage, affiliate performance, and communication metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform communication strategies and tactics.

Desired Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• Previous experience in communications, media relations, or affiliate marketing is preferred but not required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive messages and engage diverse audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities, with a demonstrated track record of successfully engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms (e.g., PR software, social media management tools).
• Passion for travel and adventure, with a genuine interest in promoting our brand and mission.
