The Tranzonic Companies is Hiring a Distribution Lead Near Las Vegas, NV
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analyzing company reports to ensure all shipments or receipts from the prior work day are complete.
- Responsible for validating completion of the necessary paperwork for all shipments and or receipts.
- Responsible for the tracking of all personnel work assignment completions.
- Responsible for monitoring and collection of all DC checklist’s by their shifts end.
- Responsible for making sure the clerical personnel have verified all shipments or receipts through an approved inspection process.
- Monitor employees work habits to continuously assure that shipments or receipts are both timely and accurate.
- Responsible for working with carries to assure trailers for shipments are accounted for and picked up & processed on a timely basis.
- Take a leadership role to ensure task completion, training and safety.
- Assure consistent and fair treatment of all DC employees when handing out work assignments and or verification of work.
- Must be able to provide training or appoint a trainer to new DC employees.
- Must be able to help manage the costs for the DC.
- Adhere to all company work rules.
- Adhere to all safe machine operating rules and practices.
- Must be able to cooperate and work well with others.
- Must possess good attitude and work ethics.
- Perform duties and assignments as assigned by supervisor.
- Use or wear all appropriate safety equipment.
- Must be available to be on-site for daily shift of 4:30 pm to 1:00 am
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Good organization and planning skills.
- Good computer skills. Ability to learn new computer programs effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
