The Truck Shop is a division of Small & Sons Oil Dist. Co., a family-owned and operated company who has been in business in Auburn, WA for over 60 years.

We are a busy Heavy and Medium Duty commercial truck dealership. Our maintenance and service departments continue to grow and we are now looking to add an entry level Service Writer to our team.

This position does not require experience, but we are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined with an interest and understanding of the industry.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven customer service and people skills
• Check vehicles in and out of service department including inspecting vehicles regardless of weather or condition of vehicle
• Ability to work as a team with technicians, parts department, vendors, and customers to follow vehicle through the entire repair process.
• Ability to keep detailed records, document processes, and provide customers and warranty providers with accurate information.
• Ability to climb in and out of commercial trucks safely.
• Assist other departments in organizing parts or other service-related tasks
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch period.
• Must be available to work an occasional Saturday

Salary:

• Starting pay is $20 per hour
