We are seeking a Part-Time Custodian who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the environment, ensuring that all cleaning measures are up to the appropriate standards.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently maintain the cleanliness expectations of the building
• Perform duties such as cleaning floors and windows
• Collect trash and recycling throughout the week and maintain the trash pick-up schedule
• Porter (tables and chairs) as needed to accommodate typically scheduled and special events
• Replace failed lightbulbs and communicate other repair needs
• Maintain supplies and communicate inventory needs
• Snow removal from entrances on Sundays and work days

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields is preferred
• Basis knowledge of cleaning methods and tools
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
