Success Coaching Program Manager - 524711 Job no: 524711 Work type: Regular Full-time (Benefits eligible) Location: Tuscaloosa Categories: Mentoring/Tutoring/Academic Support Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $56,600 - Midpoint: $73,600 (Salaried E9) Department/Organization: 200019 - Capstone Center for Student Success Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; some nights & weekends required. Job Summary: The Student Coaching Program Manager oversees the academic coaching, skill building, and related academic support functions within the Capstone Center for Student Success (CCSS). Makes strategic and data-driven decision to match offerings with student needs. Increases marketing and partnerships to grow the awareness and use of coaching and skill building on campus. Hires and supervises undergraduate student peer coaches, Graduate Assistant, and professional Success Coaches. Leads the CRLA certification process for student peer coaches. Partners with other colleagues in CCSS to ensure a strong culture of student-driven peer leadership and education. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of academic advising or student success experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of academic advising or student success experience. Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of academic coaching, academic and life skill building, student development, and learning theories. Strong multi-tasking and program management skills. Comfortable reviewing data and reports to make decisions about services. Interpersonal communication and relationship building skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree. Experience working with a coaching program, learning center, advising, and/or academic support area. Experience hiring and supervising student and/or professional staff.
