About You

About The Role

This full-time position will assist the FIDF New England team in raising humanitarian support for IDF soldiers through awareness, engagement, and education. The role requires strong detail-orientation, an outgoing communication style and a can-do attitude. Emphasis is on project execution, relationship building and effective use of organizational systems to help the FIDF New England chapter achieve its goals.

Essential Job Duties

Donor Stewardship

  • Represent FIDF New England and serve as first point of contact with supporters by managing all incoming phone calls and emails to New England office
  • Perform ongoing donor outreach and cultivation including annual events, milestones and tribute cards, as well as engagement with young professionals
  • Manage the timely processing of pledges/gifts including notification/recording, check deposits, credit card transactions, and reimbursements
  • Coordinate with FIDF National Finance Department to ensure accuracy of Gift Entry that is performed at the National level
  • Manage initial gift acknowledgements and receipts through email, phone and/or mail

Office and Event Management

  • Oversee office management including supplies/inventory, P.O. Box, incoming/outgoing mail, promotional materials/storage
  • Work closely with team on event management including logistics, mailings, coordination, etc.
  • Ensure data health by tracking donor interactions, keeping accurate communication histories, and updating online filing systems and databases
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience working in a sales, fundraising or comparable role
  • Ability to work independently and remotely from team members
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, diligent approach to execution
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Ability to travel locally for meetings/events
  • Occasional evenings and Sundays required
