Job DescriptionGrade UE02: £21,978 to £22,134 per annum pro-rata if part-time ( 5% premium band)Accommodation, Catering and Events/Business Development and OccupancyFull-time: 35 hours per weekOpen-ended: permanent The OpportunityWe have a fantastic opportunity in our Hotel Kitchen team, part of the University of Edinburgh, and are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Breakfast Chef.
Have you got a passion for food? Are you looking to progress your career within a world class organisation and develop your culinary skills further? In this varied role your key duties will include preparing and cooking food for breakfast and lunch service. You will work both by yourself and assist other chefs during your shift, ensuring high quality dishes are served to all of our guests across our three properties, which have undergone significant investment and refurbishment.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.

We also operate 17 cafes and a range of other catering products to students and staff across the University estate. Under our commercial brand, The University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events Collection, we deliver hotel accommodation options to around 200,000 guests each year plus an extensive selection of conference, catering and event services to over 2,000 events.
