REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Oral Biology, or other closely related area.

• 1-year relevant experience in biomedical or biochemistry research.

• Experience with flow cytometry and single cell suspension preparation.

• Experience creating animal models and mouse colony management.

• Experience with laboratory experiment techniques including:

• Experience working with Primary or stem cell cultures.

• Published a minimum of 2 original research articles in peer-reviewed journals as the primary/first author.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

HIGHLY Desirable:

• Experience/knowledge in:

• Grant application experience as the principal investigator

• Highly self-motivated and independent while willing to collaborate with others in an interdisciplinary group.

• Experience utilizing parametric or non-parametric statistical methods or models.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with

o Creating periodontal disease mouse models, and

o Mouse bone marrow adoptive transfer procedures.
